As I listened to John McCain's speech, I must have been listening to someone other than the pundits who are talking about it today. My ears heard him criticize politicians for failing to come together to attack serious problems in the country. The current Congress is Democratic, which means by implication if he was accusing any one party of failure it was the Democratic Party he was criticizing. Yet, all of the talking heads today are analyzing it as a criticism of his own party.
